Procurement Manager (IT & Public Procurement)

About the role

Coreso, a Regional Coordination Center operating at the heart of the European electricity market, is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead its IT and corporate services sourcing. The role combines public procurement expertise with strategic IT sourcing to support the organisation’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve Coreso’s procurement framework, policies, templates and procedures.
• Provide strategic sourcing advice, translate business needs into procurement strategies and ensure early procurement involvement in high‑impact projects.
• Manage public and private procurement processes for IT and corporate services, including tender design, evaluation and award rationales.
• Contribute to contract structuring, negotiation principles, lifecycle management and supplier performance monitoring.
• Act as the central reference point for procurement practices, enabling stakeholders to navigate complexity while maintaining compliance.
• Deliver structured procurement reporting, identify maturity gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives, supporting ISO 9001 compliance.

Required profile

• University degree (Master) or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in procurement, with strong knowledge of indirect categories and public procurement regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in IT‑related sourcing and strategic advisory.
• Excellent understanding of contract governance and supplier performance management.
