About the role
The Partnership Support Intern will work within the UNDP Brussels Representation Office, supporting the Regional Bureau for Africa and European partners. This role offers hands‑on experience in managing EU‑funded partnership pipelines, verification processes, and mission logistics while contributing to sustainable development initiatives across Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day follow‑up of the EU‑funded partnership pipeline, maintain trackers and prepare status overviews.
- Provide documentation and administrative assistance for project verification and audit exercises in coordination with the Contract Management Unit.
- Assist with logistical and substantive preparation of Regional Bureau for Africa missions to Brussels, including scheduling, briefing packs and note‑taking.
- Update briefing materials, slide decks and monitor relevant Africa‑related updates to support knowledge management and communication of partnership results.
Required profile
- Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s programme or a postgraduate degree (e.g., International Relations, Development Studies, Economics) or recent graduate.
- Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills in English and French.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational ability and capacity to work independently under deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
