Value Analysis / Value Engineering Engineer

About the role

Join Toyota Boshoku's European team in Zaventem to drive cost‑effective development of vehicle interior components. You will work closely with production plants across Europe and with key customers such as Toyota Motor to ensure high‑quality, competitively priced interior parts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, draw and control serial production of vehicle interior parts.
• Lead cost‑reduction projects for serial models in European plants (France, Poland, Turkey) and with suppliers.
• Prepare and order prototype parts to validate design and structural proposals.
• Conduct regular technical reviews with customers, suppliers and production sites.
• Generate new cost‑reduction ideas through benchmarking and technology scouting.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• Fluent English (minimum B2).
• Strong communication and persuasion abilities.
• Experience in automotive interior design or engineering is a plus.
• Willingness to travel abroad (approximately 10% of the time).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Catia V5.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
