Buyer – Supplier Management & Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Buyer to manage supplier relationships during mass production and pre‑SOP phases, ensuring smooth coordination, issue follow‑up, and risk escalation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships during mass production and pre‑SOP phases, ensuring smooth coordination, issue follow‑up, and risk escalation.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify and evaluate potential suppliers across Europe.
• Manage RFQ/RFI processes, analyze supplier quotations, and support supplier selection.
• Prepare and support cost and contract negotiations, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement in production.
• Ensure proper contract administration and maintain accurate supplier documentation.
• Present structured analyses and recommendations to internal stakeholders and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Procurement/Purchasing.
• 2–8 years of experience in a purchasing environment (junior to senior profiles considered).
• Experience in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier is mandatory.
• Experience in purchasing parts/components is a strong asset.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
