Instrumentation and Control Technician

About the role

To strengthen our technical teams, FMA Services is looking for an experienced Instrumentation and Control Technician for long‑term assignments within industrial maintenance services in the Limburg region and the Port of Antwerp. You will work in a technical maintenance environment where reliability, safety and quality are central, ensuring the proper functioning of critical instrumentation and control installations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and control installations.
• Calibrate, test and maintain industrial measuring instruments such as pressure, temperature, level and flow devices.
• Conduct fault analysis, troubleshooting and loop checks on analog and digital signals.
• Interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, data sheets and electrical/instrumentation diagrams.
• Support shutdowns, modifications and smaller projects, and record maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Technical education in instrumentation and control technology, electromechanics, electricity or automation.
• Relevant experience as an Instrumentation and Control Technician, Instrumentation Technician or E&I Technician in an industrial environment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently and within a team.
