Quality Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Manager to lead quality, safety and environmental initiatives at our chocolate manufacturing site in Brussels. You will ensure compliance with food safety standards, drive continuous improvement and protect both product integrity and employee wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality control across production, manage non‑conformities, root‑cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Lead the food safety and quality management systems, ensuring HACCP, GMP and FSSC 22000 compliance.
• Develop and maintain a proactive health‑and‑safety culture, conduct incident investigations and monitor safety performance.
• Ensure environmental compliance, monitor performance and support sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in the food industry or a highly regulated manufacturing environment, with prior leadership responsibilities.
• Fluent in French, English and/or Dutch.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross‑functional projects.

Required skills

• HACCP implementation and management.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• FSSC 22000 certification knowledge.
• Root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Auditing and risk‑assessment techniques.
• Incident investigation and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
