Senior Legal Consultant – Remote (up to $160/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Consultant to support its AI research lab clients. This remote, contract position offers flexible, asynchronous work on document evaluation projects, with compensation ranging from $80 to $160 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess domain‑specific legal and commercial documents for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
• Provide structured feedback to improve document evaluation processes.
• Apply strong analytical skills to contribute to high‑impact AI research projects.
• Collaborate independently and asynchronously, meeting project deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to established guidelines and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in legal, commercial, or related domains.
• Demonstrated ability to follow structured guidelines and produce detailed, accurate work.
• Preferred candidates are based in the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, or Canada.
