Product Design Engineer

About the role

Cowboy is rebuilding its mechanical design capability as it enters a new chapter of growth. As a Product Design Engineer you will work closely with industrial designers, manufacturing partners and suppliers to own mechanical subsystems throughout the full product development cycle, from concept to industrialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define detailed 3D and 2D models of bike components using SolidWorks.
• Perform CAE analyses and optimise designs for performance, cost and schedule.
• Analyse tolerances of complex assemblies and establish tolerance chains.
• Participate in prototyping, evaluate parts, and propose design improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure designs align with manufacturing processes.
• Develop innovative solutions for future generations of electric bikes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aeronautical Engineering or Industrial Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience designing complex mechanical assemblies.
• Strong understanding of tolerancing and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to lead design projects from concept to production.
