Operational Cybersecurity Engineer – Industrial Site

About the role

We are looking for an Operational Cybersecurity Engineer to protect both IT and industrial systems at one of our major industrial sites. You will act as the local cybersecurity expert, bridging operations, technology, and security to ensure the resilience of critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain group cybersecurity standards and processes at the local level.
• Serve as the primary cybersecurity point of contact for operational teams.
• Support the protection of industrial and corporate IT environments.
• Monitor cybersecurity activities, risks, and incidents, and provide regular reporting.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and cybersecurity exercises.
• Assist local IT teams with cybersecurity expertise and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and tools.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity within an enterprise or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and security (Windows Server, virtualization, networks, etc.).
• Interest or exposure to industrial/OT cybersecurity is a strong asset.
• Structured, analytical, and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
