About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our banquet kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes that meet our restaurant standards while delivering a memorable dining experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present food promptly and to specification.
- Stock and maintain line stations to ensure smooth service.
- Follow portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards consistently.
- Implement proper sanitation practices to prevent food spoilage and contamination.
- Maintain a clean workstation, including grills, fryers, ovens, and refrigeration equipment.
- Assist with daily cleaning of pantry, prep areas, and dish stations.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Executive Chef.
- Adhere to departmental policies, restaurant rules, and the Employee Handbook.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in a high‑volume, full‑service restaurant.
- Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
- Flexible schedule – evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Required skills
- Knife skills.
- Proficiency with standard kitchen equipment (grills, broilers, fryers, ovens, etc.).
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
