Java Developer – Transaction Monitoring Platform

About the role

We are seeking a Java‑focused Software Development Engineer to join Isabel’s 6 and Trust Services delivery team. The role will focus on enhancing the IntelliTrust platform – an in‑house real‑time transaction monitoring system that underpins core banking operations. You will work on high‑impact, mission‑critical features that enable secure, real‑time payment processing and advanced fraud detection.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java‑based microservices for real‑time transaction monitoring.
• Implement performance‑optimized processing pipelines and integrate AI/ML models for behavioral anomaly detection.
• Build feature‑engineering data pipelines and model‑serving infrastructure for live scoring.
• Develop configurable rule‑engine components that allow business analysts to define detection rules.
• Integrate with AMQP‑based message queues, external APIs and time‑series databases.
• Apply Clean Code principles, BDD/TDD practices and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and DevOps deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong background in Java development and building microservice architectures.
• Experience with real‑time data processing, message‑queue systems and API integration.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data pipelines and model deployment in production.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable and well‑tested code.
