Hotel Director

About the role

The Hotel Director leads the Hotel Operations onboard a cruise vessel, ensuring all departments deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting company targets and KPIs. This senior position requires a strategic mindset and the ability to manage a diverse, multicultural team in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Finance, Entertainment, IT & Data Systems, Cruise Sales and other revenue‑generating areas.
• Drive performance against company targets, KPIs and financial objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, resource allocation and workforce planning across all hotel departments.
• Ensure consistent delivery of personalized service standards and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Lead HR initiatives, including recruitment, training, performance management and employee development.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of senior leadership experience in a luxury (4/5*) hotel or cruise industry environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven capability to lead multicultural teams with a global perspective.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related field, or equivalent progressive experience.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer software proficiency.
