Director of Operations (Hotel)

About the role

The Director of Operations will lead the overall performance of a prestigious hotel in Brussels, with a primary focus on Food & Beverage. Reporting directly to the General Manager and collaborating with the Executive Committee, you will shape operational strategy to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations, emphasizing F&B outlets to ensure service excellence and profitability.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the brand’s lifestyle DNA and financial targets.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, cost control and P&L performance, particularly for restaurants, bars, banqueting and in‑room dining.
• Lead, coach and inspire a multicultural team to maintain high standards of service.
• Partner with Culinary, Events and Sales teams to create memorable guest experiences.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience as Director of Operations, F&B Director or Senior F&B Manager in a luxury hotel or multi‑outlet setting.
• Deep knowledge of restaurant, bar, banqueting and in‑room dining operations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Strategic vision, hands‑on leadership style and ability to work in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a plus.
