Hotel Director

About the role

The Hotel Director leads all Hotel Operations aboard a cruise vessel, ensuring that every department delivers exceptional guest experiences while meeting company targets and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day performance of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Finance, Entertainment, IT & Data Systems, Cruise Sales and other revenue‑generating areas.
• Drive results against company‑wide targets and key performance indicators.
• Coordinate strategic planning, resource allocation and workforce management across all hotel functions.
• Maintain high standards of personalized service, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead and develop multicultural teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ senior leadership experience in a luxury (4/5*) hotel or cruise environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, decision‑making and interpersonal abilities.
• Global perspective with experience in culturally diverse settings.
• Knowledge of business planning, strategic allocation, workforce planning and production methods.
• Understanding of personalized service standards, guest satisfaction evaluation, and HR policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field (or equivalent progressive experience).
• Intermediate proficiency with computer software.
