Head of Simplification Division (Luxembourg)

About the role

The European Investment Bank is seeking a senior leader to head its Simplification Division at the Luxembourg headquarters. You will drive the Bank’s agenda to streamline internal processes, improve staff experience and support the delivery of strategic objectives across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer the strategic direction of the Simplification Division, ensuring alignment with the EIB Group’s reform agenda.
• Identify, prioritise and monitor simplification initiatives with the greatest impact on efficiency and complexity reduction.
• Establish transparent, structured approaches for capturing and assessing simplification opportunities.
• Lead the Division’s work programme, mobilising internal and external resources to deliver high‑quality outputs on schedule.
• Collaborate closely with Directorates, Services and senior management to embed simplification efforts within broader strategic and operational activities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in change management, process optimisation or organisational reform, preferably in a public‑sector or banking environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to influence senior executives.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
