Business Developer – B2B Food Distribution (Antwerp)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Developer to support the launch of a fast‑growing B2B food distribution company in Antwerp. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will drive commercial growth by acquiring new hospitality clients and managing the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients (restaurants, hotels, bakeries, coffee shops, caterers) through field visits and phone outreach.
• Secure commercial meetings using cold‑calling and door‑to‑door techniques.
• Conduct in‑person presentations, negotiate offers and close initial sales.
• Support clients through their first orders and ensure high satisfaction.
• Develop and manage a client portfolio to increase purchase volume and loyalty.
• Own the end‑to‑end sales process with a high degree of autonomy.

Required profile

• Initial experience in a commercial role such as BDR, SDR or field sales.
• Proven ability in cold calling, door‑to‑door sales or other performance‑driven environments.
• High energy, resilience and strong persuasion skills.
• Self‑organized, able to handle a high volume of prospects and clients.
• Competitive, results‑oriented and driven by success.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Experience in hospitality or food‑service is a plus.
