About the role
ABB is hiring a Technical Sales Support Manager in Machelen, reporting to the EL Product Marketing Manager. You will lead a team of technical experts supporting customers and sales colleagues across ABB's Electrification business (Smart Building and Smart Power), covering distribution enclosures, circuit breakers, KNX and energy management technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing Technical Sales Support team, fostering technical excellence, collaboration and continuous learning.
- Act as the go-to expert for customers and sales teams, giving technical guidance on the Electrification portfolio and identifying the best solutions.
- Translate complex customer needs into smart, reliable and energy-efficient electrical solutions for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Drive technical analyses and solution design for strategic opportunities, balancing performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and customer engagements.
Required profile
- Expertise in Electrification, Building Automation and Energy Management, across residential, commercial and industrial environments.
- Experience in sub and main distribution, with knowledge of energy management technologies and trends.
- People-focused leader with experience coaching, mentoring or leading technical teams.
- Combines technical depth with commercial awareness.
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English, able to work across Belgium and Luxembourg.
- Category B driving licence.
Required skills
- Digital tools such as Excel, configuration tools, SharePoint and AI-powered solutions.
- Electrification, building automation and energy management.
