AMR Sales Specialist – Benelux

About the role

ABB Robotics is looking for an AMR Sales Specialist to drive the growth of its Autonomous Mobile Robot business across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The role reports to the Sales Manager and acts as the regional AMR subject matter expert, combining technical knowledge, consultative selling and business development. The position is based in Belgium or the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the commercial growth of ABB's AMR portfolio across the Benelux region and develop a regional growth strategy aligned with ABB Robotics objectives.
• Identify, qualify and develop new AMR opportunities with end-users, integrators and strategic partners, and build a healthy sales pipeline to meet order and revenue targets.
• Act as trusted advisor to customers evaluating mobile robotics and intralogistics automation, running workshops, site assessments, solution discussions and business case evaluations.
• Support local sales teams with AMR product, application and market expertise, and prepare proposals, presentations and commercial offers with application engineers and global experts.
• Build relationships with system integrators, distributors and technology partners, and collaborate with the Global AMR Solution Center on solution development and deployment.
• Support demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, pilot projects and customer visits, gather market intelligence and represent ABB at industry events and trade fairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, business development, automation, robotics, intralogistics, material handling or industrial solutions.
• Proven track record in B2B solution selling and experience with end-users, system integrators and industrial customers.
• Experience in robotics, AMRs, AGVs, warehouse automation or logistics automation is strongly preferred.
• Fluent English; fluent Dutch and/or French; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Regular travel throughout Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, with occasional international travel.

Required skills

• Understanding of AMRs, robotics automation and material handling systems.
• Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with industrial automation and digitalization trends.
• Strong commercial drive, communication and presentation skills, and ability to work independently in a matrix organization.
