Senior ReactNative Developer

About the role

Ideal Systems is looking for a Senior ReactNative Developer to help expand its mobile product portfolio used by thousands of users worldwide. You will own complex features from design through release and work closely with a cross‑functional agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and extend existing iOS and Android applications built with React Native, focusing on performance, scalability and user experience.
• Take full ownership of features, from technical design to implementation, testing and production release.
• Participate in architectural discussions and make technical decisions with senior peers.
• Integrate backend services and real‑time communication APIs (REST, WebSocket, etc.).
• Improve application stability, performance and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex development and production issues.
• Follow and contribute to best practices for code quality, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate daily with developers, designers and product managers in an agile environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on React Native in production.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front‑end development practices.
• Experience with state‑management solutions such as Redux or React Query.
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimisation and debugging techniques.
• Proven ability to integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and a commitment to high code quality.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent English (Dutch is a plus).
