Senior Outbound Sales Development Representative

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Outbound Sales Development Representative to help turn our open‑source presence into commercial conversations. You will join Timefold, an AI‑driven planning optimisation platform used by engineering teams at leading companies. The role is fully remote and focuses on using AI‑enabled tools to identify and engage high‑value prospects before they even consider a solution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an outbound sales infrastructure from scratch, including tooling, sequencing logic and signal‑based workflows.
• Leverage AI to analyse intent signals such as job postings, funding rounds, GitHub activity and product reviews, and prioritize accounts automatically.
• Create AI‑assisted outreach sequences that trigger on buying signals rather than calendar dates.
• Craft personalized outreach using prompt‑engineering techniques while maintaining a human touch.
• Engage both technical evaluators (developers, architects, engineering leads) and executive sponsors (CIO, VP Engineering) to open conversations.
• Provide feedback loops to continuously improve the outbound motion and define what great SDR performance looks at Timefold.

Required profile

• Proven experience in outbound sales or business development, preferably in a SaaS or AI‑focused environment.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and build processes from the ground up.
• Comfortable experimenting with new tools and iterating quickly based on data.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI‑enabled sales tools (e.g., Claude, Lavender, Clay, Amplemarket) and predictive scoring platforms.
• Experience with intent‑signal analysis and prospecting workflows.
