Senior Consultant – Strategy & Transformation (Commercial & Customer Excellence)

About the role

As a Senior Consultant in Strategy & Transformation, you will guide financial institutions through comprehensive change programmes. You will focus on improving commercial performance and enhancing customer experiences across banking, lending, investment, and insurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on digital customer journeys, distribution strategies and sales optimisation.
• Design and implement distribution models for physical branches, independent agents, brokers and online channels.
• Analyse customer behaviour and interactions to generate insights for experience improvement.
• Support end‑to‑end transformation projects, including project management, risk analysis, compliance and budget oversight.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, marketing, IT and compliance teams to deliver customer‑centric solutions.
• Monitor performance of sales and distribution channels and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in management consulting or the financial sector with a focus on commercial strategy, digital transformation and customer focus.
• Strong analytical ability to turn market trends and customer data into strategic insights.
• Proven project‑management experience, leading cross‑functional teams and managing budgets.
• Good knowledge of investment, loan and insurance products and related regulations such as MiFID II.
• Customer‑centric mindset with experience developing customer‑focused strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (good knowledge of the other) and proficient in English.
