Financial Controller – EMASA Hub

About the role

The Financial Controller is a critical partner to management, providing financial leadership and insights that drive informed decision‑making and operational excellence across the EMASA Hub. This role offers the chance to shape processes, enhance controls and support ongoing integration and development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance and accounting operations for the EMASA Hub, supporting strategic and operational objectives.
• Act as finance business partner to the EMASA management team and advisor to the Managing Director.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of local controllers across Belgium, Argentina, Brazil and South Africa.
• Consolidate and review affiliate financial data, analyse results, explain variances and provide actionable recommendations.
• Oversee treasury, budgeting, tax and audit activities and ensure timely statutory reporting and compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (or CPA/CMAs).
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including people management.
• Experience in a project‑based industrial company or corporate setting.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong technical finance and accounting expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
