Kitchen Trainee - Hospitality Internship

About the role

Hilton Brussels Grand Place is looking for a passionate and motivated Kitchen Trainee for an internship of at least 3 months starting in 2026. The trainee works in the restaurant and Banqueting department, developing culinary skills alongside an experienced team in the heart of Brussels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef and kitchen team with food preparation, helping to prepare ingredients and set up workstations.
• Help prepare starters, main courses and desserts under the Chef's supervision.
• Help clean and maintain workstations, kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards throughout kitchen operations.
• Support the team in organising each service while ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to the creation and testing of new recipes under the Chef's supervision.
• Make sure every dish leaves the kitchen with an impeccable presentation.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and/or English.
• Enrolled in a hospitality school or similar programme.
• Passionate about cooking and eager to learn.
