Group & Events and Reservation Trainee (Internship)

About the role

Pandox Belgium is looking for a Group & Events and Reservation Trainee (internship, preferably at least 4 months) within its Food & Beverage and Meetings & Events department. The intern works closely with the Meetings & Events team and collaborates with Front Office, Kitchen and Restaurant Operations. The role suits someone passionate about hospitality, food & beverage and event management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the operational setup and execution of meetings and events
• Attend function sheet meetings and prepare meeting and event spaces
• Welcome clients and guests and act as the main point of contact during events
• Coordinate coffee breaks, lunches and other F&B services so they run on time
• Prepare group menus, event signage and audiovisual equipment
• Post events in Lightspeed and monitor meeting room inventory
• Ensure smooth communication between F&B and Meetings & Events, and answer the F&B duty phone
• Support breakfast and restaurant operations when needed

Required profile

• Strong interest in hospitality, food & beverage and event management
• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented
• Enjoys teamwork and communicating with different people
• Hands-on mentality and eager to learn
