HRM Officer – Post Management

About the role

The European External Action Service is looking for a proactive HRM Officer to manage post‑management activities at its headquarters. The role supports the Budget and Post Management Division in ensuring efficient staffing and resource allocation across the Service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating post management activities in headquarters, ensuring timely follow‑up on staffing requests, staff cuts and redeployments.
• Analyzing and screening human‑resources allocation in headquarters to optimise use of posts.
• Organising and chairing the bi‑weekly staff request and post‑management meetings.
• Supporting the preparation of post‑related reports and statistics for the Budget and Post Management Division.
• Ensuring compliance with the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union (CEOS) in all post‑management processes.

Required profile

• Dynamic, proactive and service‑oriented attitude.
• Strong communication, drafting and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a multicultural EU environment.
• Relevant experience in human‑resources or post‑management functions, preferably within an international or EU institution.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal English.
