Governance, Risk and Compliance Consultant – ICT Risk

About the role

Capco ICT Risk is looking for a Governance, Risk and Compliance Consultant in its ICT Risk team in Brussels. You will join consulting engagements that manage, control and mitigate clients' risk management strategies, working closely with clients to define their security strategy. The team focuses on risk-minded solutions for financial services organisations, including cyber security priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Review platforms and services to assess cyber risks such as data leakage and unauthorized access, and design controls to mitigate them
• Design, develop and implement cybersecurity requirements that meet business needs with appropriate controls
• Design and develop cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures
• Lead teams and projects of varying sizes independently
• Produce deliverables such as security automation tools, reference security architectures and white papers

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with interest in a permanent position at Capco
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a cyber or information security field
• Good verbal and written knowledge of French or Dutch and English
• Project management experience and ability to lead projects independently
• Experience writing proposals and designing solutions, and writing and storytelling with MS Excel and PowerPoint

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of security control frameworks (ISO 27K, NIST, CSA) and regulations (DORA, NIS2)
• Cybersecurity domain experience such as resilience, data security, IAM, cloud security, threat and vulnerability management, digital trust, awareness and training
• Risk assessment experience
• Ability to explain security and risk terminology in business terms to stakeholders
• Awareness of security engineering concepts across the SDLC; certifications such as ISO 27 Lead Implementer or CISSP highly recommended
