About the role
The Global Workforce Planning Lead will support Médecins Sans Frontières’ transition to a strategic People and Workforce model. Based in Brussels, the role bridges HR expertise with operational needs to ensure an agile, future‑oriented workforce across complex humanitarian programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies aligned with the People and Operations Delivery (POD) model.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, HR Officers, and back‑office teams to integrate people‑related expertise into programme realities.
- Ensure compliance, duty of care, and emergency readiness across all projects.
- Support surge response and strategic workforce adjustments in unpredictable humanitarian scenarios.
- Monitor and evaluate the evolution of the POD model from 2026 to 2031.
Required profile
- Proven experience in strategic workforce planning or HR within complex, multi‑national environments.
- Strong analytical abilities and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations and HR teams.
- Fluency in English; gender‑inclusive (f/x/m) approach.
