Functional Analyst - Digital Assets

About the role

Capco, a global technology and business consultancy focused on financial services and energy, is looking for a Functional Analyst with proven experience in Digital Assets, Blockchain, Tokenization or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). This is a specialist role for professionals who have worked on financial services transformation initiatives in emerging digital asset ecosystems, working with leading financial institutions on their digital asset transformation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and solution requirements.
• Design functional solutions and assess their feasibility, impact and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners and developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support system enhancements, testing, production releases and post-go-live improvements.
• Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, architecture, regulatory and operational standards.
• Contribute to the functional design of tokenization platforms, blockchain-based workflows, digital wallets and custody-related processes.
• Support business and functional analysis for emerging use cases such as settlement, issuance, transfer and lifecycle management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst in banking, payments, capital markets and insurance.
• Proven experience in Agile environments and in transformation or change initiatives with business and technology stakeholders.
• Proven experience on Digital Asset, Blockchain, Tokenization or DLT initiatives is essential.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Professional English; Dutch is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Strong functional analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Familiarity with UML diagrams, APIs, system integrations and end-to-end solution design.
• Understanding of digital asset ecosystems, tokenized asset workflows and related financial services processes.
• Knowledge of blockchain, tokenization, smart contracts, stablecoins, digital wallets, DLT, cryptocurrency or programmable money is a strong asset.
