Data Architect

About the role

Nexeo is seeking a Data Architect to join a leading financial institution in Belgium. As a consultant, you will work within an international environment, collaborating with IT architects and data engineers to shape the data landscape of a major banking client.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT architects and data engineers to define data solutions.
• Translate conceptual data architecture into detailed technical designs, including data modeling, storage, and analysis systems.
• Define data sources, collect metadata, and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Assist in drafting Invitations to Tender and produce technical specifications.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years of proven experience developing data & analytics platforms, including architecture, tools, and data governance.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Experience coordinating business and technical teams in a multicultural setting.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
