Solutions Architect – Business & Technical Liaison

About the role

As a Solutions Architect you will bridge business expectations and technical delivery, translating requirements into structured functional designs and guiding development teams to build sustainable, high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Convert business needs into detailed functional and solution specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather, analyse and clarify requirements.
• Design process flows, functional diagrams, user stories and test scenarios.
• Collaborate with development and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation.
• Execute and document tests, analyse defects and support troubleshooting.
• Communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, documentation standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Solution Designer, Functional Analyst or similar role.
• Proven ability to create functional documentation, diagrams and test cases.
• Strong analytical mindset with root‑cause analysis capability.
• Effective communicator who can translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) environments is a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch; knowledge of French is an advantage.
