Cybersecurity Consultant

About the role

Capco, a global technology and management consultancy for the Financial Services and Insurance industries, is looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join its ICT Risk team. You will partner with clients to assess security vulnerabilities, identify risks and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions, working within a flat, non-hierarchical structure.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks in client systems.
• Advise on security best practices, frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Design and implement customized cybersecurity solutions.
• Deploy and configure security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS and encryption solutions.
• Advise on incident response planning and help create response protocols.
• Support compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27k and NIST.
• Develop security policies, procedures and training programmes.
• Monitor security, report findings and guide continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Consultant or similar role.
• Knowledge of cloud security for AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent).
• Experience with security assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Previous client-facing or consulting experience.
• Fluent spoken and written French or Dutch, alongside English.

Required skills

• DevSecOps familiarity and knowledge of GDPR, FIPS, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27k and CIS Controls.
• Expertise in risk management, threat modelling and vulnerability assessment.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls and encryption platforms.
