Customer Experience Consultant

About the role

Maersk is recruiting a Customer Experience Consultant for its Customer Experience team. The position starts with a 6-month fixed-term contract and is intended to become permanent thereafter, subject to mutual satisfaction and business requirements. The consultant works in a team of 6-8 colleagues in a fast-paced, internationally growing business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor outgoing and incoming cargo for customers and advise them on e-solutions and extra services offered
• Answer customer requests by email, telephone or internal team chat
• Find creative solutions that improve customers' supply chains
• Act as the primary contact for customers, manage stakeholders across the shipment process and stay up to date on local and foreign rules, procedures and product developments
• Build strong relationships with customers, work on the customer portfolio and share knowledge and best practices with the team
• Drive customer experience improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Previous experience in the shipping and logistics industry
• Passion for customer service and success as a team member
• Willingness to offer extra services and to drive customer experience improvements
• Excellent fluency in English and Dutch
• Security clearance is required as part of pre-employment screening
