Bilingual Interior Designer (French/Dutch) – Brussels

About the role

JOA is seeking a bilingual Interior Designer fluent in French and Dutch to join its creative team in Brussels and Braine‑l’Alleud. You will be responsible for turning client briefs into functional, high‑end interior solutions, guiding projects from initial consultation through to contract signing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior layout plans and 3D models using SketchUp, Archicad or Revit.
• Present design concepts to clients in French and Dutch, addressing feedback and securing approvals.
• Collaborate closely with carpenters, joiners and the technical team to ensure designs are buildable.
• Manage the sales process: follow‑ups, adjustments, and closing deals.
• Convert marketing‑generated leads into concrete projects.

Required profile

• Degree in architecture, interior design or industrial design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior or furniture design.
• Native‑level Dutch (C1 minimum) and fluent French; English is a plus.
• Strong aesthetic sense for bespoke design, fine materials and the use of curves.
• Commercial flair and confidence presenting ideas to clients.
