Back-End Java Developer (Spring Boot)

About the role

We are seeking a Back‑End Java Developer to join the SACHA program, a strategic platform that modernises agricultural accounting for farmers, public administrations and academic institutions. You will work in an Agile team building a large‑scale application using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and PostgreSQL.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust back‑end services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate external systems and databases.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and evolution of the SACHA platform.
• Develop business functionalities for accounting, stock management and workflow processing.
• Support data migration from legacy Excel‑based solutions.
• Participate in automated code‑generation frameworks for database objects, views, pages and unit tests.
• Ensure application security, performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects and front‑end developers in an Agile environment.
• Assist with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Back‑End Developer.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design.
• Understanding of software architecture principles and enterprise application development.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in Agile teams.
