Python Backend Engineer – Digital Health Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Back‑end Developer to help scale a fast‑growing digital health platform. You will design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable backend systems that support healthcare professionals and patients. Working closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality solutions with real‑world impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs
• Build integrations with third‑party platforms and partners
• Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Contribute to technical architecture and best practices
• Ensure security and compliance of sensitive data (HIPAA/GDPR)

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Python
• Strong experience with Django and REST APIs
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and software architecture principles
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
• Fluent in French and English
