Back End Developer (Java/Spring Boot)

About the role

We are looking for a Back End Developer to join the team building SACHA, an online modular tool for farm‑management accounting. The role focuses on designing and implementing core back‑office services, integrating with external databases, and ensuring the solution complies with GDPR and client security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a modular journal to manage loads, products, allocations, movements, stocks and multi‑annual data.
• Implement a central stock management system covering all movements for fertilizers, seeds, control products, crops and livestock.
• Create import and export modules to migrate data from Excel and other sources into PostgreSQL.
• Build role‑based access control, workflow engine, traceability, document archiving and a secure environment.
• Participate in the creation of a framework that automatically generates tables, views, pages and data‑transfer scripts.
• Collaborate with the Angular front‑end team and maintain the API built with Spring Boot.
• Write technical and functional documentation and support data migration activities.
• Work within a Scrum/Agile environment, following DevSecOps best practices.

Required profile

• Confirmed experience (mid‑level) in software architecture and back‑end development.
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes related to farm management.
• Proven ability to design and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience delivering Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with Jira and Jira Xray for issue tracking and test management.
• Experience in data migration projects and writing technical documentation.
• Comfortable working in Scrum/Agile teams and applying application security principles.
