VP Talent Management

About the role

This senior executive position leads the transformation of a Learning & Enablement function into a fully integrated, strategic Talent Management organization for a global workforce based in Belgium. Reporting to senior leadership, the VP Talent Management will shape how talent is developed, assessed, and advanced across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a global Talent Management strategy that unifies performance management, learning & development, succession planning, career development, and high‑potential programs.
• Own the end‑to‑end performance management lifecycle, including goal setting, reviews, calibration and improvement frameworks.
• Design and lead succession planning and high‑potential identification initiatives to strengthen leadership pipelines.
• Build career development frameworks, competency models and internal mobility pathways.
• Oversee global learning and development programs, including onboarding, leadership development and functional upskilling.
• Lead the optimisation and integration of Workday and LMS platforms, eliminating fragmented talent processes.
• Champion AI‑driven and automated talent solutions such as learning recommendations, coaching nudges and skills gap analysis.
• Develop talent analytics capabilities to monitor workforce health, mobility, succession strength and program effectiveness.
• Partner with executive leadership, HR business partners, Finance and other stakeholders to align talent strategy with business objectives.
• Lead, develop and inspire a global Talent Management team while driving operational excellence.

Required profile

• Proven senior talent leader with extensive experience across the full talent management lifecycle.
• Demonstrated success leading large‑scale transformation initiatives in global organisations.
• Strong ability to work with senior executives and cross‑functional partners.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to talent decisions.
