Vice President, Strategy Pricing & Interchange

About the role

As Vice President of Strategy Pricing & Interchange within Mastercard’s Revenue Optimization & Planning team, you will lead the development and execution of medium‑ to long‑term pricing strategies for Mastercard’s core fee products. Reporting to senior leadership, you will work in a global context, collaborating with commercial, product, legal and finance partners to shape the company’s economics and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and design global opportunities to strengthen Mastercard’s economics and competitive positioning.
• Conduct holistic assessments of pricing initiatives, including strategy, value creation, willingness‑to‑pay, risk, financial impact simulations and scenario analyses at country and customer levels.
• Prepare and present recommendations and supporting materials to senior management for decision‑making.
• Lead the Network Platforms & Services team through ideation to implementation of pricing projects.
• Collaborate closely with regional Core Payments product managers, country management, and global Pricing & Interchange teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in pricing strategy, revenue optimization or related finance roles, preferably within payments or financial services.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
• Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and driving cross‑functional initiatives.
• Deep understanding of Mastercard’s fee structures and the broader payments ecosystem.
