Technical Delivery Manager – Azure & Data Migration

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead large‑scale Azure cloud and data migration programmes. The role will own end‑to‑end delivery governance, stakeholder communication and successful execution of complex migration initiatives, preferably within the telecom sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data migration and cloud transformation programmes on Azure.
• Plan, execute, track and deliver multiple workstreams while ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Define migration strategy (re‑platforming, re‑hosting, modernization) and enforce delivery governance, milestones and reporting structures.
• Manage dependencies across data engineering, infrastructure, DevOps and business teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and blockers proactively.
• Coordinate with architects to align solutions with Azure best practices.
• Oversee UAT, cut‑over planning and production rollout activities.
• Maintain robust communication channels with stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required profile

• 12–18 years of IT experience with at least 8 years in delivery or programme management.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale data migration or transformation programmes.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models.
• Strong leadership skills managing cross‑functional global teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication abilities.
• Telecom domain experience is a plus.
