Cybersecurity Analyst – CyberOps (EU Institution, Brussels)

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst specialized in CyberOps to support a major European public institution in Brussels. The role focuses on security assurance, vulnerability management, and delivering actionable cyber threat intelligence to senior management and the SOC.

Key responsibilities

• Define and review architectures for security systems.
• Assess security settings on various IT applications and components.
• Perform penetration tests and evaluate the security posture of systems and applications.
• Deploy and administer vulnerability scanning tools in cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Analyze detected vulnerabilities, propose patching solutions, and automate reporting.
• Write reports for system owners and management, and present capabilities of scanning tools.
• Provide support for remediating security issues and develop Python scripts for integration with other platforms.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least one ICT security certification.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and cloud security.
• Strong communication skills in English; French is an asset.
