Technical Architect – Blockchain & Commercial Banking

About the role

We are seeking a senior Technical Architect to lead the design of blockchain‑enabled solutions for digital money, stablecoins and other digital assets within a commercial banking environment. The role bridges traditional banking systems with emerging distributed ledger technologies, ensuring secure, scalable and regulatory‑compliant architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end technical infrastructure for stablecoin and digital‑money initiatives.
• Define integration frameworks that connect core banking platforms with blockchain networks.
• Advise stakeholders on custody, settlement, wallet infrastructure and transaction processing.
• Evaluate and recommend blockchain platforms, protocols and tooling suitable for regulated banking.
• Lead architecture workshops, reviews and strategic discussions across cross‑functional teams.
• Develop roadmaps for adopting blockchain‑enabled financial services while ensuring compliance and security.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Technical, Enterprise or Senior IT Architect in banking or a highly regulated financial environment.
• Deep understanding of commercial banking operations, products and processes.
• Extensive knowledge of blockchain, DLT, stablecoins, tokenization and digital‑asset management.
• Experience designing integration architectures between legacy banking systems and distributed ledgers.
• Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks such as MiCA and DORA.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
