Software Engineer - Medical Imaging (Fullstack)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑stack Software Engineer to join Medpace’s imaging services team. The position involves developing web and backend quantification applications for the management and analysis of medical images (CT, MRI, PET, US, ECG, etc.) used in clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Collect functional requirements and develop new features for the web application supporting clinical trial conduct and management.
• Design and implement image quantification applications integrated into the web platform.
• Provide support, maintenance, and end‑user assistance for released applications.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in software validation through test‑script development and execution.
• Follow the company’s software development lifecycle in a highly regulated (clinical trial) environment.
• Communicate project status, tools, and procedures with team members.
• Write technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (higher degree acceptable).
• Strong full‑stack programming abilities; 2 + years of software development experience is appreciated.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Team spirit and ability to work in a regulated environment.
