Service Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

ENERCON is seeking a Service Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to ensure that wind turbine service activities meet the company’s high quality standards. You will work closely with maintenance technicians, internal trainers, and the HSE department to support safe and efficient operations across Belgium and potentially abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate maintenance technicians after interventions and verify compliance with Enercon quality standards.
• Conduct on‑site approval checks, ensuring technicians have completed required theoretical training and providing supplemental training when needed.
• Monitor processes in real conditions, confirming adherence to Enercon protocols and procedures.
• Support internal trainers in improving technical training material for service technicians.
• Perform internal IMS audits and post‑commissioning inspections of wind turbine generators (WECs).
• Provide technical support to service technicians and coordinate with technical teams on SQA matters.
• Draft technical and informational documents for field staff.
• Implement HSE policies, promote safety, and report incidents, accidents, or hazardous situations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Technician at Enercon.
• Strong organizational skills, safety‑mindset, and willingness to travel extensively.
• Valid driving licence (category B).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and fluent Dutch or French; knowledge of the other language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using SAP.
• Familiarity with ClickSchedule.
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes.
