Senior Mechanical Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Site Manager to lead the mechanical execution (HVAC and sanitary) of a 19,000 m² mixed‑use development in Brussels. The role bridges design intent and on‑site installation, ensuring the project meets quality, schedule and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical execution phase from design review to installation‑ready documentation (Dossier EXE).
• Coordinate engineering workflows between the central design office and the construction site.
• Supervise on‑site technical staff, draftsmen and subcontractors, ensuring safety, schedule compliance and execution quality.
• Guarantee alignment with European and Belgian building codes, local standards and project specifications.
• Oversee cross‑disciplinary coordination with electrical, structural and architectural teams to resolve interface clashes.
• Lead on‑site testing, commissioning (FAT/SAT) and final system handover.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in mechanical building systems execution, particularly HVAC and sanitary, on large‑scale commercial or renovation projects.
• Practical knowledge of Belgian building regulations and technical execution standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical staff and manage subcontractor workflows.
• Professional proficiency in French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with Belgian site safety frameworks (e.g., VCA‑VOL).
