Senior Android Software Engineer

About the role

Tinder is looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer to join its high‑impact engineering team in Ghent, Belgium. You will help shape the most visible parts of the Tinder app, reaching millions of users worldwide while working in a hybrid environment that encourages collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of consumer‑facing features in the Tinder Android app.
• Build compelling in‑app experiences that scale to a global audience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define road‑maps and deliver high‑quality features.
• Create and maintain shared frameworks and libraries used across the mobile ecosystem.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to deliver high‑quality code in a fast‑moving environment.
• Passion for building products that connect people and improve user experiences.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting with three days per week on‑site in Ghent.
