Product Manager – Hybrid (Ghent)

About the role

Polysense is building computer‑vision systems that monitor and optimise food production lines in real time. As the first dedicated product hire, you will translate the CTPO’s vision into a scalable roadmap and help shape the intelligence layer that turns raw production data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Turn strategic direction for Qualify and AutoControl into a sequenced, scalable roadmap and align delivery feedback with engineering priorities.
• Own triage of delivery requests, engineering asks and sales signals, organising and prioritising work.
• Shape the intelligence layer by defining how raw sensor data is transformed into insights and actions.
• Partner with Sales and Pre‑Sales to experiment with new use‑cases on real production lines and assess their product potential.
• Run the usability and improvement feedback loop for the platform, making scope decisions to prevent creep.
• Provide clear context for each major feature to engineering and maintain regular retrospectives and cross‑team communication.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or technical/industrial products.
• Background in fast‑moving, low‑structure environments such as startups or scale‑ups.
• Comfortable working directly with engineers on technical products and making trade‑off decisions under ambiguity.
• Proven ability to turn input from multiple stakeholders into a coherent, sequenced plan.
• Strong communicator who can adapt messaging for engineers, sales, leadership and customers.
• Self‑sufficient learner who can find answers independently and build processes from scratch.
