SAP Run Lead

About the role

Ravago is looking for an SAP Run Lead to take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of its global SAP environment. Reporting to the SAP Competence Center Lead, you will ensure the reliability, performance and support quality of the SAP landscape while leading a team of SAP consultants across several business domains. The role sits in an international setting and supports Ravago's ongoing SAP transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the SAP Run organization and safeguard system availability, performance and operational continuity, ensuring SLAs and business service levels are met and downtime is minimized.
• Oversee the transition of projects, deployments and enhancements into steady state, including hypercare support.
• Own end-to-end incident and problem management, coordinate critical issue resolution, lead root-cause analysis and promote standardization, automation and knowledge management.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of SAP consultants, coordinate resource planning, on-call schedules and workload distribution, and align support priorities with business and IT objectives.
• Monitor SAP and third-party providers against contracts and SLAs, run service reviews, handle escalations and ensure compliance with governance and audit requirements.
• Report operational performance, risks, SLA adherence and improvement initiatives to senior IT leadership and steering committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in SAP application support, managed services or application management.
• Proven track record in incident and problem management and in leading or coordinating SAP support teams.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA and end-to-end processes in finance (R2R), order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, manufacturing, warehouse and supply chain.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional European languages and industry experience (chemicals, plastics, manufacturing, distribution) are a plus.

Required skills

• ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or v4).
• Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks and tools such as ServiceNow.
• Nice to have: ITIL intermediate or advanced certification, SAP functional certifications, hands-on troubleshooting in R2R, OTC, PTP, MTD or WHS, and experience with business continuity and disaster recovery testing.
