Integration Architect - SAP S/4HANA

About the role

Ravago, an international recycler and distributor of plastics, rubber and chemicals, is looking for an Integration Architect to define and drive its enterprise-wide integration strategy and architecture. The role is part of the Global Enterprise Architecture team and is central to the ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation. It is a highly visible position with global impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the global integration strategy and roadmap, and set architectural standards and best practices.
• Define the direction of the SAP Integration Suite and govern technologies including SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Trading Partner Management, B2B/EDI integration, middleware and iPaaS solutions.
• Establish integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, messaging, batch, B2B/EDI) and standards for API design, versioning, naming, security and monitoring.
• Support the SAP S/4HANA program, promote clean-core principles, enable side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP and define integration approaches with surrounding applications.
• Review integration initiatives, prevent unnecessary point-to-point interfaces, and lead architectural remediation after production incidents.
• Reduce technical debt, retire legacy middleware and improve platform reliability and scalability.
• Work with Enterprise Architects, solution architects, delivery teams and regional IT leaders, and manage relationships with SAP and other vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Integration, Solution or Enterprise Architecture in large, international organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

• SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Trading Partner Management, SAP PI/PO)
• Additional tools such as Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi, webMethods or Kafka
• SAP S/4HANA integrations and SAP BTP
• API management, event-driven architecture, B2B/EDI, messaging and integration security
