Python Data Engineer for NATO Cyber Threat Intelligence

About the role

Spektrum is seeking a Python/Data Engineer to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in delivering cyber threat intelligence solutions. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that ingest, process, and disseminate intelligence data using specialised standards and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines for NATO cyber threat intelligence.
• Develop processing workflows that transform raw feeds into actionable intelligence.
• Integrate and manage data exchange using PyMISP, STIX, and TAXII protocols.
• Produce the Data Dissemination Plan (D9) and related engineering deliverables (D10–D14).
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and defence experts to ensure data quality and security.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data engineering, preferably within security‑focused environments.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data formats.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
