Project Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Engineering & Technology team in Brugge, Belgium. You will be the technical backbone that turns sales opportunities into fully engineered projects, ensuring designs meet our high standards and support successful execution.

Key responsibilities

• Design basic layouts for wastewater, water‑treatment, and biogas upgrade/reuse systems.
• Prepare core engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, engineering lists, books and functional descriptions.
• Act as the single point of contact between the project manager and detailed engineering teams (civil, piping, electrical, mechanical).
• Lead the project engineering team, guaranteeing timely delivery of documents in line with company standards.
• Identify and communicate potential cost or technology improvements.
• Provide technical support to other departments and end‑users when required.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and experienced project or process engineer.
• Practical knowledge of industrial installations is a plus.
• Experience in wastewater treatment, biogas or green energy from waste is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional European languages (Dutch, French, Spanish) are a strong plus.
• Effective communicator with cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
